Looking for the next big thing in hair care that truly celebrates ALL kinds of beauty? Lush Hair Nigeria just made a powerful splash at Lagos Fashion Week 2024, and we’re absolutely here for it!

The leading hair care brand didn’t just turn up as a sponsor – they arrived with a groundbreaking showcase of inclusive beauty that had everyone talking. During the five-day fashion extravaganza held at Victoria Island, Lagos (23rd-27th October), Lush Hair Nigeria not only unveiled their newest product line, Hair Treatment, but also made a powerful statement about diversity that left the audience in awe.

The runway presentation was a beautiful celebration of diversity, featuring models of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. From stunning plus-size models owning the catwalk to an inspiring amputee model breaking barrier, and showcasing the versatility of Lush Hair products – the brand proved that beauty truly knows no bounds. Models with various skin tones graced the runway, painting an authentic picture of African beauty in all its magnificent shades.

Brand Manager Omoruyi Bello-Osagie spilt the tea on the new Hair Treatment range, revealing it’s packed with solutions for everyone, regardless of their hair type or texture. “We’re all about giving Nigerian women – every single one of them – the tools they need to achieve their hair goals,” Bello-Osagie shared with enthusiasm.

The real champion behind the scenes? Edith Okechukwu and her brilliant team from Lush Hair Professional School, who worked their magic on over 100 diverse models using Lush Hair’s finest products. We’re talking Kinky Twist, Kinky Royale, Roni Curls, and wow Braids – proving these products work beautifully on all hair types!

This year’s Lagos Fashion Week theme was COMMUNE, celebrating unity in Africa’s fashion scene, and Lush Hair took it to the next level by showing what true inclusion looks like. Marketing Manager Vivian Obiano put it perfectly: “We’re not just selling hair products – we’re building an inclusive community where women can feel confident and beautiful, regardless of their size, shade, or physical abilities.”

For all our fashion and beauty enthusiasts out there, this groundbreaking showcase proves that Lush Hair isn’t just talking about diversity – they’re actively championing it.

Stay tuned for more updates on their Hair Treatment range and future inclusive collaborations. Trust us, you won’t want to miss what they have in store.
