In a statement on the agency’s official X account titled, “Rejig as NPA Appoints New General Manager,” Dantsoho also redeployed the agency’s acting spokesperson, Mrs. Sarah Ballah, to head another division, alongside others.

Explaining the basis for the appointments and redeployments, the statement said it was “geared towards repositioning Nigeria’s foremost trade facilitation platform for greater efficiency and renewed contribution to the national economy,” adding that the new managers are to support the Dantsoho-led management in actualising its performance deliverables.

According to Dantsoho, who came to the job with decades of sector-specific experience, having commenced his career at the NPA as a Youth Corp member, “these appointments represent our deliberate strategy to deploy the wealth of experience of the appointees to national advantage.”

Dr. (Mrs.) Chinwe Nwokolo was retained as Pharmacist, Hadiza Sani is General Manager Medical, Abuja Liaison, while Babatunde Gbotolorun is General Manager ICT Division.
