President Muhammadu Buhari has advised Nigerians to vote for his party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, due to his commitment.
In Lafia Square, Nasarawa State, during the All Progressive Congress, APC campaign, Buhari stated that he has known Tinubu for more than 20 years, as one to always gives his utmost.
“VOTE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria, and VOTE Governor Abdullahi Sule for a 2nd term! I have known Asiwaju for more than 20 years; he is a committed Nigerian; he will give his best to Nigeria!” Buhari’s message to Nigeria stated.

Additionally, the President inaugurated the Sadami Street road, and the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute (AMEDI), built by the Nasarawa State Government, all of which were completed before he attended the APC Presidential Campaign event at Lafia Square.
President Buhari inaugurated the Federal Secretariat in Lafia, Nasarawa State, naming the building after Justice Sidi Dauda Bage, a retired justice of the Supreme Court and the emir of Lafia, adding it to the list of projects his administration has accomplished.

The President also named the Conference Room in the Secretariat after another State citizen, Maimuna Joyce Katai.
He stated that the award was given to two Nasarawa State natives, Justice Bage, and the Late Katai, in honor of their contributions to national progress.
