Recipients of the uncommon campaign were full of appreciation as the non-governmental Role Models Initiative, in conjunction with the Centre for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development, took their Operation Feed and Clothe 100 Children for Christmas to the IDP Camp, Durumi and Gishiri Village in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Welcoming the team, the Girishi Village head, Samuel Auta, commended the kind gesture, adding that the community deeply appreciated its inclusion in the benefactors’ plans for Christmas celebration.

On their part, the initiator of Role Models Initiative, Mr. Graham Elendu, expressed the organisers’ delight at the smoothness of the event. He thanked all who supported the organisers with contributions to make the outreach a success.

He noted that the outreach could be a platform for all interested in touching the lives of the less-fortunate, as it holds from time to time, with the next event holding during the 2019 Valentine Day in February.

Shocked to know that such a community exists side by side the Maitama District of Abuja, among others, the organisers urged other well-meaning Nigerians to do more to reach out to people in need all around them.
