Ahead the commissioning of the Lekki Deep Seaport Monday by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced the berthing of a CMA CGM container vessel at the facility in Lagos today.
The French container carrier is to operate the container terminal of the deep seaport.
“Ahead of the president’s commissioning of @LekkiPort for commercial operations tomorrow, one of the largest container vessels, the CMA-CGM, has berthed at the port,” the agency posted Sunday on its twitter handle, @nigerianports.
“Once more, @NigerianPorts has proven that it is prepared to offer marine services for seamless port operations.”
