Mother of 5, Salimot Okekunle, seeks N3.5m for kidney surgery

A mother of five, Mrs. Salimot Abosede Okekunle, is passionately appealing to well-meaning individuals and organisations home and abroad for the sum of N3.5 million for kidney stone surgery to save her life. 

The Ogun State resident is suffering from kidney stone and is billed to undergo surgery at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Narrating her helplessness, she recalled how the situation got to this level: “First I thought it was fibroid. I went under the knife but the pains were still there. After going for another round of tests, I was told it was kidney stone.  

“I can’t sleep, I can’t walk, I can’t stand. I’m going through a lot of pains. Nigerians should kindly come to my aid. I was told the surgery will cost N3.5 million for the surgery.”
