Leading Pan-African airline, Ethiopia Airlines, has announced the appointment of India’s Only Merit (Merit Healthcare & Hospitality Solutions) as its “Promoter” for medical travel packages from African territories to India, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Announcing the deal, the Vice President, Marketing, Ms. Rahel Assefa, said the airlines’ “vast network in the continent, coupled with Only Merit’s expertise, shall be of great advantage and further strengthen the growing demand for medical tourism from Africa to India.”
On his part, Director of Only Merit, Mr. Anil Mathew, noted that the association, as promoter with the largest African carrier, “will further strengthen the promotion of unique medical travel facilities to India.”
With the deal, Ethiopian Airlines’ medical travel passengers can avail twice daily non-stop services to Mumbai and New Delhi from over 50 African destinations.
Apart from those two cities, the airlines also offers convenient and economical connections on its code share and SPA to almost all metro cities in India, including Ahmadabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi and Trivandrum, among others.
