Sequel to an earlier meeting in January, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and the Joint Task Board (JTB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on collaboration and enhanced tax management.
The MoU, signed by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi, and the JTB Secretary, Olusegun Adesokan, during the latter’s courtesy visit to the NCS in Abuja, aims to strengthen strategic collaboration, including integrating fiscal policies to enhance data facilitation.
Adesokan commended Adeniyi and the service, noting that the signing of the MoU has brought the January meeting to a milestone. He further commended the team for its foresight that led to the signing of the MoU.
