The document, which details will be released to the public today, October 31, in Abuja contains his seven governance priorities, among which is securing Nigeria, ending banditry and insurgency, and uniting the nation to manage its diversity without excluding any part;

Production-centric growth for food security and export, which will move Nigeria from a consuming to a producing nation; restructuring the polity through effective legal and institutional reforms, and fighting corruption and enthroning the rule of law and all-inclusive and effective government.

The others include massive investments in new technologies to leapfrog the country from an oil-dependent economy to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR); expanding physical infrastructure with a focus on critical sectors such as power, multi-modal transportation and gas pipeline, among others.

This will be achieved through efficient public-private partnership (PPP) reforms, which will unleash growth-enabling entrepreneurship and market-creating innovations, the manifesto stated.

According to the document, youth engagement and human capital development which improves the quality of life of workers and families, and productivity-enhancing education which engenders labour competitiveness, as well as robust foreign policy that restores the nation’s strategic relevance, will be the thrusts of the Obi/Dati-Ahmed administration.
